Abstract

Un évent chauffé qui peut être couplé à un tuyau provenant d'un système de plomberie d'un édifice. Un câble chauffant est enroulé autour d'un cylindre interne, lequel cylindre est enveloppé dans une feuille conductrice et entouré par un cylindre externe de plus grand diamètre, celui-ci étant revêtu d'une feuille réfléchissante et définissant un vide entre la feuille réfléchissante et le cylindre. Les cylindres sont fixés à une extrémité supérieure par un capuchon d'extrémité et à leur extrémité inférieure par un capuchon d'extrémité inférieure; une attache est fermement fixée dans le cylindre interne entre un pont dans une ouverture du capuchon d'extrémité et un disque inférieur placé autour de l'extrémité inférieure du cylindre interne pour supporter la glace qui se serait formée à l'intérieur du cylindre interne. Le câble chauffant dégage de la chaleur, qui est alors réfléchie par la feuille réfléchissante et absorbée par la feuille conductrice de sorte à prévenir la formation de glace sur la surface interne du cylindre interne.
