Abstract
Anode de cellule servant à effectuer l'extraction électrolytique d'aluminium, constituée par un substrat en alliage de nickel-fer possédant une partie extérieure riche en métal nickel et comportant une couche de surface solidaire contenant de l'oxyde de nickel-fer, perméable à l'électrolyte et adhérant à la partie extérieure riche en métal nickel de l'alliage de nickel-fer, cette couche de surface exerçant une activité électrochimique en utilisation servant à l'évolution de l'oxygène. Cette couche de surface en oxyde présente une épaisseur telle qu'en utilisation, la chute de tension à travers ladite couche est inférieure au potentiel de dissolution de l'oxyde de nickel-fer. Cette partie extérieure peut contenir des cavités dont la plupart ou la totalité, après oxydation, sont remplies en totalité ou en partie par des oxydes de fer, de manière à obtenir des inclusions contenant de l'oxyde de fer.
