Abstract
A gasket formed integrally with a film obtained by laminatedly forming adhesive rubbers directly on a resin film, wherein the adhesive rubber obtained by forming an addition reaction cure type silicone rubber in angularly protruded shape is used, whereby, because the gasket formed integrally with the film meets the requirements for thin seals such as a reduction in thickness of seal and prevention of dislocation of assembling position, it is used suitably for fuel cells, secondary cells, and capacitor s and does not contaminate those electrolyte and catalyst used for these cells .
Claims (10)
1 A film-integrated gasket, which comprises a resin film and a rubber layer having an adhesiveness to the resin film, molded on the resin film and formed into an inverted T-type stepped wall cross-section.
2. A film-integrated gasket according to Claim 1, wherein the resin film has a thickness of about 10 ~ about 500 µm.
3. A film-integrated gasket according to Claim 1, wherein the rubber layer having an adhesiveness to the resin film is a rubber layer molded from liquid or paste rubber.
4. A film-integrated gasket according to Claim 3, wherein the liquid or paste rubber is silicone rubber.
5. A film-integrated gasket according to Claim 4, wherein the silicone rubber is addition reaction type silicone rubber.
6. A film-integrated gasket according to Claim 3, wherein the rubber layer is a rubber layer having a low JIS A hardness of 70 or less.
7. A film-integrated gasket according to Claim 3, wherein the rubber layer is a rubber layer having a low JIS A hardness of about 10 ~

9. A film-integrated gasket according to Claim 1 for use as a thin seal.
10. A film-integrated gasket according to Claim 9 for use in a fuel cell, a secondary battery or a condenser.
Claim 1 was restricted as specified in Claim 8 as originally filed in which the rubber layer is formed into an inverted T-type stepped wall cross-section.
Each cited prior art does not teach or suggest a rubber layer having an inverted T-type stepped wall cross-section.
The film-integrated gasket of the present invention, which is newly specified in the amended Claim 1, can provide a seal capable of satisfying reduction in thickness of seal materials and in positional alignment failure during assembling thereof, and at the same time capable of satisfying reduction in specific pressure and specific pressure uniformalization, thereby being effectively used as a thin seal suitable for a fuel cells, secondary batteries, condensers, etc.
Claim 1 was restricted as specified in Claim 8 as originally filed in which the rubber layer is formed into an inverted T-type stepped wall cross-section.
