Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un combustible émulsionné, c'est-à-dire par exemple une émulsion eau dans gazole ou eau dans essence, utilisable pour l'alimentation des moteurs à explosion ou des appareils de production d'énergie. Le but visé par l'invention est de permettre la préparation à l'échelle industrielle d'émulsions stables au moins quatre moi s, dans lesquelles la phase externe est organique et la phase interne est aqueuse. Ce but est atteint par le procédé selon l'invention qui consiste à mélanger la phase organique, la phase aqueuse et des additifs à homogénéiser un volume V de liquide comprenant la phase organique et les additifs par mis e en circulation de celui-ci à l'intérieur de la capacité d'homogénéisation à un débit Qc tel que le rapport Qc/V >= 100h-1, à faire circuler le liquide homogénéisé dans une boucle de dérivation externe comprenant un système émulseur à un débit Qcirc tel que le rapport V/Qcirc soit compris entre 0 et 2 h, et à alimenter en eau la boucle de dérivation en amont du système émulseu r, jusqu'à obtenir les caractéristiques souhaitées de stabilité au stockage de l'émulsion. L'invention concerne également le dispositif de mise en oeuvre d e ce procédé.
