Abstract

Le procédé décrit sert à régénérer un catalyseur reformé traité à haute température désactivé par des incrustations de coke et comprenant au moins un métal du groupe VIII. Selon ce procédé, on brûle premièrement le coke déposé sur le catalyseur en mettant le catalyseur en contact avec un gaz qui contient de l'oxygène. On réduit ensuite le catalyseur en le mettant en contact avec un gaz réducteur, de préférence l'hydrogène, puis on le traite à une température dans une plage comprise entre 975· et moins de 1150 ·F. Cette dernière étape du traitement peut s'effectuer soit dans une atmosphère réductrice, soit dans une atmosphère gazeuse inerte. Il est en outre préférable de conduire cette dernière étape tout en maintenant le niveau d'humidité des effluents gazeux au-dessous de 200 ppmv.
