Abstract
Ce procédé est du type à bascule. Lorsque la demande d'oxygène est inférieure à la valeur moyenne, on produit de l'oxygène liquide additionnel en introduisant de l'oxygène comprimé, à l'état gazeux, dans la ligne d'échange thermique de l'installation, le débit d'azote liquide injecté dans la double colonne étant réduit de façon correspondante. On peut ainsi augmenter le rendement moyen d'extraction d'argon de l'installation.
