A presente invenção refere-se à formulação de uma suspensão de composto insolúvel de cobre que permanece sem separação de fases no frasco de estoque por períodos superiores a 20 (vinte) meses e por até 3 (três) dias após a diluição em água para uso. Tal formulação é preparada com os seguintes componentes: água, agente dispersante (óxido de etileno/óxido de propileno condensado ou aquil, aril, alquilaril etoxilado ou lignosulfonatos ou formaldeído condensado ou misturas dos mesmos), agente umectante (naftalenoformaldeído condensado ou naftaleno-formaldeído sulfonato ou policarboxilatos ou misturas dos mesmos), agente anticongelante (etilenoglicol ou propileno glicol ou etileno ou misturas dos mesmos), adesivo (sílica precipitada ou polivinilalcool ou polivinilpirrolidona ou poliacrilamida ou misturas dos mesmos) e antiespumante (soluções de silicone de 10 a 100%).
