Abstract

<B>SISTEMA DE MOLDE DE FUNDIçãO CONTìNUA MELHORADO E PROCESSOS RELACIONADOS"<D> - Um molde e processo melhorados para fundição contínua envolve o uso de uma superfície de molde que seja fabricada de um material, tal como diamante, que seja não metálico, um condutor eficiente de calor e que seja mais resistente à degradação que os materiais e revestimentos convencionais que são usados em superfícies de molde. Em uma configuração, o material não metálico é unido a um revestimento de molde convencional. Em uma segunda configuração, a parede inteira do molde pode ser fabricada do material não metálico.
