Abstract

"PROCESSO DE TRATAMENTO DE áGUAS MINERAIS FERRUGINOSAS". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de tratamento de águas (2) minerais ferruginosas, ricas em gás carbónico, caracterizado pelo fato de que a) contata-se as referidas águas com um material (4) à base de dióxido de manganês (MnO~2~) e b) recupera-se as referidas águas minerais tratadas (3) com baixo teor de ferro. Ela também se refere a um processo de acordo com o qual o material à base de dióxido de manganes (MnO~2~) é regenerado por via química, eventualmente precedido de uma regeneração por via mecânica, sendo que a referida regeneração química compreende uma etapa de regeneração ácida e uma etapa de regeneração oxidante.
