Abstract

Patente de Invenção:<B>"COMPOSIçãO E PREPARAçãO FARMACêUTICA CONTENDO A MESMA PARA O TRATAMENTO DE HERPES E INFECçõES VIRAIS RELACIONADAS"<D>. De acordo com a presente invenção, verificou-se uma nova composição pela extração e purificação das espigas de Prunella vulgaris. As composições da invenção são agentes eficientes para tratamento dos efeitos citopatogênicos de um vírus envelopado em mamíferos. De acordo com uma outra modalidade da presente invenção, são fornecidos processo para o tratamento dos efeitos citopatogênicos de um vírus envelopado e indicações relacionadas em mamíferos, empregando as novas composições mencionadas acima como o agente ativo. De acordo com ainda uma outra modalidade da presente invenção, verificou-se que as composições da invenção são agentes eficientes para o tratamento dos efeitos citopatogênicos de um vírus envelopado em mamíferos expostos a regimes imunossupressores. De acordo com ainda uma outra modalidade da presente invenção, verificou-se que as composições da invenção fornecem um agente eficiente para proteger mamíferos da infecção viral reativada durante ou após tratamento com agentes quimioterapêuticos. De acordo com ainda uma modalidade adicional da presente invenção, são fornecidos processos para preparar os novos extratos de Prunella vulgaris que possuem ação antiviral e as formulações que contêm os ditos extratos. De acordo com ainda uma modalidade adicional da presente invenção, são fornecidos processos para purificação e caracterização da fração ativa de Prunella vulgaris útil para o tratamento dos efeitos citopatogênicos de um vírus envelopado em um mamífero. De acordo com ainda uma modalidade adicional da presente invenção, verificou-se que as composições da invenção são agentes eficientes para a profilaxia e terapia de doenças causadas por vírus envelopados em mamíferos.
