Abstract

"ABSORVENTE INTERNO". Trata-se de um absorvente interno (tampão), com uma camada de barreira permeável ou solúvel, interposta entre um núcleo absorvente e uma parte extra-envolvente, possibilitando a obtenção de um molhamento uniforme, substancialmente completo, mesmo sob condições de um fluxo leve. A barreira impede o fluxo imediato de fluido dentro do núcleo, proporcionando tempo para que o fluido seja transportado pela parte extra-envolvente em volta da superfície externa do absorvente interno, antes de ser recolhido para dentro do núcleo absorvente.
