Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>''SUPERABSORVENTES QUE APRESENTAM TAXA DE ABSORçãO CONTROLADA''<D>. A invenção refere-se a polímeros hidrofílicos altamente dilatáveis para líquidos aquosos, por exemplo superabsorventes, os quais são revestidos com polímeros hidrofóbicos reativos insolúveis em água formadores de película e um constituinte reativo adicional que pode reagir com grupos carboxila ou ânions carboxilato e formar reticulações adicionais na superfície da partícula. A invenção também refere-se à produção de superabsorvente assim revestido e seu uso em artigos higiênicos utilizados para absorver fluidos corporais. Os produtos obtidos através de revestimento de polímeros hidrofílicos insolúveis altamente dilatáveis com polímeros hidrofóbicos reativos insolúveis em água formadores de película e um componente reativo adicional caracterizam-se pelo fato de que sua velocidade de absorção pode ser ajustada de uma maneira controlada em uma área extensa de acordo com o tipo e a quantidade de polímeros hidrofóbicos reativos insolúveis em água formadores de película usados no revestimento e de acordo com as condições de engenharia de processo escolhidas para o revestimento.
