Patente de Invenção:<B>"DISPOSITIVO E PROCEDIMENTO PARA O PROCESSAMENTO DE DADOS BIOMéTRICOS".<D> A invenção se refere a um dispositivo e a um procedimento para o processamento de dados biométricos, particularmente dados de impressões digitais, com uma unidade de processamento, que está equipada com - um sensor para detectar o sinal de entrada biométrico e - meios para o processamento do sinal de entrada, para a criação de dados de indentificação, que individualizam uma pessoa, e caracterizada pelo fato de que a unidade de processamento pode ser conectada a um elemento de identificação portátil, com o elemento de identificação portátil apresentando uma unidade de avaliação operando de uma maneira tal que os dados de referência, alocados para uma pessoa e armazenados em um componente de semicondutor do elemento de identificação portátil, possam ser verificados contra os dados de identificação para concidências. A avaliação compreende uma comparação de semelhanças, de modo que ela possa ser determinada como uma função de um valor limiar preestabelecido, se os dados de identificação e os dados de referência coincidem.
