Um controlador para veículos elétricos compreendendo um inversor de controle de vetor para controlar motores que acionam rodas dos veículos elétricos pela divisão da corrente primária do motor em uma componente de corrente de excitação e uma componente de corrente de vetor, e controlar as respectivas componentes de corrente baseado em um comando respectivamente projetado, caracterizado por compreender ainda meios para detectar uma velocidade de roda (incluindo freq³ência de rotor do motor proporcional à velocidade da roda), meios para detectar deslizamento e derrapagem da roda baseado em um valor diferencial (uma velocidade variável com o tempo) da velocidade de roda detectada, meios para detectar a re-aderência da roda baseado no valor diferencial e um valor diferencial duplo da velocidade de roda detectada, e meios para ajustar o comando projetado para a componente de corrente de torque em resposta aos dois meios de detecção. In accordance with the present invention, the point and re-grip can be precisely detected when a wheel generates slipping or skidding, and the torque current component of the motor can be quickly resumed by using the fast response of the vector control, and, since the torque can be used effectively up to a limit of physical adhesion even in a condition in which the coefficient of adhesion is low, as in rainy days, the acceleration and deceleration of the electric vehicle can be increased as much as possible.
