Abstract
Patente de Invenção:<B>"PROCESSO DE NEUTRALIZAçãO PARA A FABRICAçãO DE GRâNULOS DE AGLOMERADO DE DETERGENTE"<D>. The invention in question involves a continuous process for the production of detergent agglomerate granules comprising the following steps: (a) grinding the carbonate selected from carbonate selected from sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, and mixtures thereof, to a carbonate in freshly ground particles having an average particle size of from about 2 to about 50 microns, (b) preparing a mixture within a high speed mixer by introducing raw materials into the mixer consisting essentially of the following: (1) from about 10% to about 25% of an alkylabenzene sulfonic acid; (2) from about 25% to about 60% of the carbonate in freshly milled particles, the amount of carbonate being at least about 10 times the amount theoretically necessary to neutralize the alkylabenzene sulfonic acid; (3) from about 5% to about 40% of a phosphate builder selected from polyphosphates, pyrophosphates, and mixtures thereof; (4) from about 5% to about 50% of sodium sulfate; (5) from 0% to about 10% of other surfactants; (6) from 0% to about 9% water (including water in the raw materials); and (7) from 0% to about 10% of other materials; (c) agglomerating the mixture from step (a) inside a moderate speed mixer; whereby the alkylabenzene sulfonic acid is neutralized by carbonate and detergent agglomerate granules are produced, and that the granules produced are essentially free of flow aids selected from silicas, clays, diatomaceous earth, aluminosilicates, perlite, calcite, and mixtures thereof.
