Abstract
TAMANHO FINAL DE GRÃO REDUZIDO DE MATERIAL FORJADO NÃO CRISTALIZADO PRODUZIDO ATRAVÉS DA VIA DE REFRIGERAÇÃO DIRETA (DC). O tamanho do grão de um produto metálico distribuído pode ser melhorado ao pré-configurar dispersoides supressores de recristalização durante o vazamento. As regiões externas de um lingote embrionário de vazamento a frio direto podem sofrer reaquecimento antes que o vazamento esteja concluído. Ao colocar um limpador e/ou usar outras técnicas de reaquecimento, a temperatura do lingote pode ser reaquecida (por exemplo, até aproximadamente 410 °C a aproximadamente 420 °C), permitindo a formação de dispersoides. A agitação e/ou movimento no poço coletor de metal fundido pode facilitar a formação de um poço coletor mais profundo e um tamanho de grão desejável conforme vazado. A formação de dispersoides durante e/ou imediatamente após o vazamento pode fixar os contornos de grão no tamanho de grão desejado, encorajando os mesmos tamanhos de grão, mesmo após uma etapa posterior de recristalização e/ou solubilização.
