processo para preparar alquileno glicol. um processo para preparar alquileno glicol a partir de matéria particulada compreendendo hemicelulose, celulose e lignina, cujo processo compreende as etapas de submeter um reator compreendendo tal matéria particulada a uma hidrólise de dois estágios na presença de ácido clorídrico para hidrolisar a hemicelulose e celulose na matéria particulada a sacarídeos, seguido por submeter os hidrolisados obtidos a uma conversão catalítica com hidrogênio e na presença de um sistema catalisador a um produto compreendendo um ou mais alquileno glicóis.
