Abstract
são revelados métodos e aparelho para codificar informação de vídeo tendo uma pluralidade de amostras de vídeo. os blocos para os dados de vídeo são codificados por um codificador com base em um parâmetro de quantização (qp) para cada bloco. o qp usado para cada bloco pode ser limitado por um valor de qp máximo. pode ser determinada uma plenitude de armazenamento de uma unidade de armazenador que indica uma relação entre um número de bits atualmente ocupados na unidade de armazenador e uma capacidade atual da unidade de armazenador. o codificador pode determinar um valor de ajuste para o qp máximo com base na plenitude de armazenamento determinada. mediante ajuste dinâmico do qp máximo para os blocos de codificação de dados de vídeo, a distorção a partir da quantização pode ser reduzida ao mesmo tempo em que impede que a unidade de armazenador estoure ou esvazie.
