Abstract
trata-se de um micro-organismo recombinante útil para a produção de l-metionina e processo para a preparação de l-metionina. o micro-organismo da invenção é modificado de modo que a produção de l-metionina seja aprimorada usando-se uma proteína tiocarboxilada como doador de enxofre e expressando-se uma enzima que tem atividade de homosserina o-acetiltransferase sem inibição de retorno por metionina e/ou s-adenosilmetionina e uma enzima que tem atividade de o-acetilhomosserina sulfidrilase.
