Abstract
a presente invenção proporciona um novo gene wms que confere macho-esterilidade de trigo, o seu promotor de expressão específico de antera e usos dos mesmos. no trigo, um gene ms2 bem conhecido que causa macho-esterilidade dominante tem sido amplamente aplicado na seleção recorrente na china. uma abordagem de rna-seq foi realizada para revelar o transcritoma específico de antera em um par de linhas isogênicas de ms2, ?lumai 15? e ?lumai 15 + ms2?. como resultado, um gene wms foi identificado mostrando expressão específica de antera no estágio inicial da meiose e apenas em trigo carregando o gene ms2. a regulação do wms poderia alterar a macho-fertilidade da planta. verificou-se que o promotor de wms compreende uma atividade específica de antera. assim, a presente invenção pode ser usada para alcançar a expressão de genes específicos da antera, para desenvolver macho-esterilidade em várias espécies de plantas, para estabelecer a seleção recorrente em várias espécies de plantas e para auxiliar a produção de sementes híbridas.
