Abstract
"fibras e membranas de polietileno de alto peso molecular,sua produção e uso"a presente invenção refere-se a um processo para produção de um componente de polietileno alongado ,tal como uma fibra ou menbrana ,pó de polietileno tendo um peso molecular de pelo menos 3x 105 g/mpl conforme determinado através de astm 4020 é dissolvido em um solvente para produzir uma solução extrusável.a solução é então extruada através de um molde para forma um componente alongado e pelo menos parte do dito solvente é removida do componente alongado .o pó de polietileno usado no processo é produzido através de polimerização de etileno na presença de uma composição de catalisador compreendendo um complexo de metal do grupo 4 de um ligante de éter fenolato.
