Abstract

célula conversora para conversores em cascata e um sistema de controle e método para operar uma célula conversora. a presente invenção refere-se a um conversor elétrico em cascata e um método para operar um conversor elétrico em cascata que são descritos. o conversor em cascata compreende: uma célula conversora incluindo um capacitor de cálula e pelo menos um condutor de fase tendo pelo menos duas válvulas elétricas, pelo menos um condutor de fase sendo conectado em paralelo ao capacitor de célula; e um sistema de controle para controlar a comutação das válvulas elétricas de pelo menos um condutor de fase. o sistema de controle é configurado para, sob detecção de uma necessidade em passar a célula conversora, controlar a comutação das válvulas elétricas de forma que o capacitor de célula entre em curto-circuito através de um condutor de fase para obter um avanço da corrente através do condutor de fase, assim criando uma passagem de corrente permanente através da célula conversora.
