Abstract
"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA A FORMAçãO DE UMA PRé-FORMA INTERMEDIáRIA, PRé-FORMA INTERMEDIáRIA, PROCESSO PARA A FABRICAçãO DE UMA FIBRA óTICA MICRO ESTRUTURADA, E, FIBRA óTICA MICRO ESTRUTURADA". Um método para a formação de uma pré-forma intermediária em um método de fabricação de uma fibra ótica compreende a formação de um sol que contém um precursor de vidro; o derramamento do sol em um molde (20) que contém um conjunto de elementos alongados (202); o envelhecimento do sol de modo a obter um corpo de gel; a remoção do conjunto de elementos alongados do corpo de gel para criar um conjunto correspondente de orifícios e a remoção do corpo de gel do molde; em que o método compreende ainda conferir um movimento ao dito conjunto de elementos alongados durante o envelhecimento do sol para evitar a adesão do gel aos elementos alongados, o movimento sendo de preferência uma rotação ao redor dos respectivos eixos ou uma translação alternada ao longo dos respectivos eixos. é também reivindicada um aparelho com dispositivos para a realização do método.
