Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO DE REVESTIMENTO CAPAZ DE SER ELETRODEPOSITADA, MéTODO PARA PREPARAR A MESMA E MéTODO PARA ELETRO-REVESTIR UM SUBSTRATO CONDUTOR". Proporciona-se uma composição de revestimento capaz de ser eletrodepositada de uma fase resinosa dispersada em um meio aquoso, sendo que a fase resinosa inclui (a) uma resina que contém um grupo de sal catiónico, que contém hidrogênio ativo; e (b) pelo menos um agente de cura de poliisocianato bloqueado pelo menos parcialmente. A composição contém um catalisador de organo-estanho que é um composto de dialquilestanho, ou é derivado do mesmo, que tem a estrutura (I): [R1] [R2] -Sn=O, onde R~ 1~ e R~ 2~ são os mesmos ou diferentes e cada um independentemente representa um grupo de hidrocarboneto monovalente em que a soma dos átomos de carbono em R~ 1~ e R~ 2~ é maior do que 8. O catalisador encontra-se presente em uma quantidade suficiente para efetuar a cura sob uma temperatura de 171,1<198>C (340<198>F) ou abaixo da mesma. Proporcionam-se igualmente métodos para a preparação e utilização da composição.
