Abstract

"MéTODOS E COMPOSIçõES PARA PRODUçãO DE LINHAGENS DE MILHO COM TRANSFORMABILIDADE AUMENTADA". A presente invenção refere-se métodos e composições para produção de Zea mays da linhagem elite com transformabilidade aumentada. Composições compreendendo um germoplasma de elite exibindo maior transformabilidade são descritas. São ainda providos métodos para geração de milho de modo que características de transformabilidade aumentada podem ser transferidas para um germoplasma desejado. As plantas e métodos da invenção representam uma nova ferramenta valiosa para a criação de plantas transgênicas de elite, de preferência tendo uma ou mais características benéficas adicionadas.
