Abstract
"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA PAGINAçãO DE UM TERMINAL MóVEL EM UMA LAN SEM FIO". Um aparelho e um método para implementação de um mecanismo de paginação em uma LAN sem fio, por exemplo, uma LAN sem fio de acordo com a Especificação Técnica Hiperlan 2, para permitir que uma estação de base, ou um ponto de acesso, pagine um terminal móvel que nao está conectado, ou associado, com o ponto de acesso. O presente mecanismo de paginação é implementado por transmissão de uma mensagem do canal de difusão (400), que inclui uma indicação de que uma mensagem de paginação (410) é incluída no pacote de dados atual, uma segunda mensagem do canal de difusão, que inclui as informações específicas para a mensagem de paginação, e uma terceira mensagem do canal de difusão, que inclui as informações relativas à localização da segunda mensagem do canal de difusão no pacote de dados. Em resposta à mensagem do canal de difusão indicativa da presença do pedido de paginação, o terminal móvel obtém as segunda e terceira mensagens do canal de difusão e determina se o pedido de paginação e intencionado para o terminal móvel.
