Abstract
"LASTRO ELETRôNICO PARA ACIONAR, PELO MENOS, UMA LâMPADA DE DESCARGA GASOSA, E, MéTODOS PARA REDUZIR A DISTORçãO HARMôNICA TOTAL DA CORRENTE DE ENTRADA DE LASTRO, E PARA REDUZIR O FATOR DE CRISTA DE CORRENTE EM UM LASTRO ELETRôNICO". Um lastro eletrônico para acionar uma lâmpada de descarga gasosa inclui um retificador, um circuito aplainado, um inversor tendo um primeiro e um segundo dispositivos controlavelmente condutivos conectados em série tendo ciclos de trabalho complementares, um circuito de controle para controlar o dispositivo controlavelmente condutivo, e uma fonte de alimentação de "orelha de gato" independente para prover potência para os circuitos de controle de lastro. O resultado é um lastro tendo THD substancialmente melhorado, e fator de crista de corrente. Em uma forma de realização preferida, o circuito aplainado inclui um dispositivo de armazenamento de energia que armazena energia em resposta a um dispositivo controlavelmente condutivo.
