Abstract

"APARELHO PARA RECEPçãO DE GPS". Como prover um aparelho de recepção de GPS tendo uma precisão de medição aperfeiçoada devido à pesquisa seletiva de alguns sinais entre os transmitido por um número de satélites. Um aparelho de recepção de GPS para a recepção de ondas elétricas transmitidas por uma pluralidade de satélites inclui uma antena para a recepção de ondas elétricas a partir dos satélites; uma unidade de computação de ângulo de elevação (501) de modo a achar um ângulo de elevação (<sym>n) de cada satélite com base na onda elétrica recebida através do satélite; e uma unidade de comparação (503) de modo a comparar o ângulo de elevação (<sym>n) com um ângulo de elevação de referência predeterminado (<sym>ref). Apenas as ondas elétricas transmitidas pelos satélites, cada qual tendo um ângulo de elevação (<sym>n) maior do que o ângulo de elevação de referência predeterminado (<sym>ref) são seletivamente usados para computar uma posição.
