Abstract

"REVESTIMENTOS DE BARREIRA TENDO BIS-SILANOS". Um processo para preparar um revestimento de barreia a oxigênio usando um composto com a fórmula R~ a~X~ 3-a~Si-Z-SiX~ 3-~ ~ a~R~ a~ em que Z é R'NH (R'NH)~ p~R', cada R é selecionado no grupo que consiste de um átomo de hidrogênio e um grupo de hidrocarbonetos, cada X é selecionado no grupo que consiste de um grupo alcóxi com 1 a 4 átomos de carbono, um átomo de halogênio, um grupo de oximas ou um grupo acilóxi, cada R' é um grupo de hidrocarbonetos divalentes tendo 1 a 12 átomos de carbono; a é de 0 a 3 e p é 0 ou 1. A invenção ainda compreende composições que incorporam o composto acima. Os revestimentos preparados podem ser usados em aplicações de embalagem como revestimento de topo ou um "prímer" para revestimentos adicionais.
