Abstract
"MìSSIL ANTI-MìSSIL E MéTODO PARA DESTRUIR OU INCAPACITAR UM MìSSIL ATACANTE". Compreendendo um míssil anti-míssil (10) inclui um míssil configurado para rastrear e interceptar um míssil atacante, viajando ao longo da trajetória (12). O míssil (10) inclui pelo menos um conjunto de tubos (13) possuindo uma multiplicidade de projéteis empilhados axialmente dentro do conjunto do tubo (13), junto com cargas de propelentes discretas seletivamente ascendíveis para propelir a multiplicidade de projéteis sequencialmente através do bocal do conjunto de tubos (13). A multiplicidade de projéteis produz uma coluna de fragmentos (20) ao longo da trajetória (12) para destruir o míssil atacante. Alternativamente, o míssil anti-míssil (10) pode ser guiado para produzir um impacto direto no ponto (18) no míssil atacante. O conjunto de tubos (13) pode inclui um mecanismo de alvejamento de modo que o conjunto de tubos (13) possa ser girado através do setor (15 e 16) para a trajetória do alvo (12).
