Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA SELECIONAR UM PROVEDOR DE SERVIçOS DE COMUNICAçãO NUM AMBIENTE DE MULTI-MODOS, TERMINAL MóVEL DE MULTI-MODOS, E, PRODUTO DE PROGRAMA DE COMPUTADOR PARA SELECIONAR UM PROVEDOR DE SERVIçOS DE COMUNICAçãO NUM AMBIENTE DE MULTI-MODOS". Terminais móveis, processos e produtos de programas de computador podem permitir que múltiplos modos de comunicação possam ser pesquisados para localizar um provedor de serviços de comunicação adequado ou desejável. O limiar do que é e do que não é aceitável se baseia na preferência de provedor de serviços, em vez de em protocolos específicos de tecnologia. O provedor de serviços selecionado é classificado de acordo com um modelo de seleção de provedor de serviços que define uma série de níveis de preferência de provedores de serviços comuns. Como diferentes modos de comunicação podem usar diferentes rótulos de classificação para provedores de serviços, o modelo de seleção de provedor de serviços pode ser usado para integrar estes esquemas de classificação potencialmente desiguais numa estrutura comum.
