Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "REPARO DE SOLDA DE ARTIGOS SOLIDIFICADOS DIRECIONALMENTE". Artigo de superliga a base de níquel solidificado unidirecionalmente (40) que possui um defeito (58), estendendo-se paralelo à direção de solidificação (54). O artigo (40) é reparado por remoção de qualquer matéria estranha presente no defeito (58), e então aquecendo o artigo (40) a uma temperatura de reparo de cerca de 60 a cerca de 98% da temperatura de solidificação do material de base em uma câmara contendo gás de proteção que inibe a oxidação do material de base. O defeito (58) é enchido com um metal de carga, enquanto mantendo o artigo (40) na temperatura de reparo. O enchimento é realizado por provisão de uma fonte do metal de carga substancialmente da mesma composição que o material de base do artigo solidificado direcionalmente (40) e fusão do metal de carga no defeito (58) progressivamente, enquanto movendo a fonte de metal de carga em relação ao artigo (40), em uma direção paralela à direção de solidificação (54). Opcionalmente, a extração de aquecimento artificial, adicional, é realizada em uma direção de fluxo de aquecimento que está dentro de cerca de 45<198> da direção de solidificação (54), conforme o metal de carga solidifica dentro do defeito (58).
