Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "APARELHO E MéTODO PARA TESTAR O REVESTIMENTO DE UM CONDUTOR ELéTRICO". Um aparelho e método para testar um revestimento sobre um condutor, tal como um revestimento dielétrico sobre um fio (W). Uma fonte de alta voltagem (24) está acoplada ao transformador no segundo terminal (b) e o enrolamento primário (42) está acoplado ao condutor (W) através de uma roda (30). As falhas no revestimento resultarão em uma mudança na corrente que flui no enrolamento primário (42) assim induzindo uma corrente em um enrolamento secundário (44) do transformador. A corrente no enrolamento secundário (44) é detectada por um sensor (60) e os dados de falhas podem ser compilados por dispositivos de aquisição de dados conhecidos.
