2. Système de construction de viroles suivant la
"System for building ferrules for tanks and elements in the form of modules for implementing the system".
The present invention relates to a system for constructing ferrules made up of interlocking elements, particularly intended for the manufacture
ferrules for tanks with vertical axis in the open or covered, such as swimming pools, and usable for the storage of liquid, solid or gas.
The shell construction system according to the invention applies to the construction of curved walls or rectilinear walls.
A ferrule constructed according to the invention is characterized in that it is constituted by the fitting of three series of modules, a first series consisting of basic elements in the form of rails, a second series consisting of wall elements in form of box cover placed on edge and a third series consisting of top elements in
L-shaped, the base elements fitting one after the other to form the periphery of the shell, the wall elements fitting into the base elements and between them over the height of the shell and the crown elements lining up next to each other to fit into wall elements.
To better understand the invention this is now described in more detail on the basis
of the attached drawing, by way of example only, showing in:
Figures 1 to 3 a view respectively of a base element, a wall element and a top element, of which is made a ferrule constructed according to the invention; Figures 4 and 5 a view of two additional elements, and Figure 6 a partial perspective view of a ferrule constructed according to the invention.
A ferrule produced in accordance with the present invention comprises a series of basic elements 1 in the form of a rail of a determined length. This rail can be curved or not, depending on whether it is to build a curved or straight ferrule. If it has to be bent, it will be bent according to the radius of the tank to be built. Each element comprises a latching member with the following and in its upper face are provided cavities or cells 2, of suitable shape, to receive pins or male studs 3 provided on the wall elements 4.
These wall elements 4 are each made up of a part in the form of a box cover, also bent or not depending on the shape of the tank to be constructed. They are represented in the drawing in a rectangular shape but they could be shaped in various ways. They are intended to be installed
edge with their pins 3 down, the corresponding upper face having a series of cavities or cells 2 of female shape corresponding to the pins
3.
The inner part of the wall elements 4 is advantageously provided with a number of overlapping fins 4 ′ to perform the role of stiffeners with respect to the bottom wall and the wings.
Internal ribs 5 are provided at certain suitable locations on the side walls of the elements 4 for positioning the connecting members between elements, as will be explained below.
In the cells 2 of the upper wall elements 4 are fitted lugs 3 carried by crown elements 6 consisting of a piece in
L shape of a certain length.
The wall elements 4 are connected between
them and with elements 1 and 6 by connecting members. A particularly suitable connecting member according to the invention consists of a horseshoe-shaped clips 7, the slot 7 'of which corresponds perfectly to the thickness of the elements to be assembled.
The crown element 6 is shaped in its upper part 6 ′ so as to be able to receive any type of finishing profile or handrail. It can also advantageously receive a clipping profile
(not shown) intended to hold the canvas of a swimming pool. There is thus shown in the drawing an element 8 consisting of a profile of a certain length provided at its lower part with two spaced lips 8 'for overlapping at crest of the crown element 6.
For particular technical reasons the position of the pins 3 and the cells 2 could be reversed on the corresponding elements.
To facilitate the construction of the shell, the various elements are in the form of modules.
The assembly of the various elements to constitute a ferrule according to the invention consists of the following phases:
- The basic elements 1 are fitted one after the other so as to form a circle corresponding to the diameter of the ferrule.
- A first row of wall elements 4 with their lugs 3 downwards is placed on the base elements 1 so as to fit into the cells 2 in a half-length offset manner to ensure the connection of the ends of the items 1.
- A second row of elements 4 is fitted on the first row with offset of the upper elements by half a length, and so on until the desired height is obtained.
the elements 4 are secured to the basic elements 1 and between them, both in the horizontal and vertical directions,
by fitting connecting members such as clips 7.
- on the upper face of the wall elements 4, the crown elements 6 with their lugs 3 downwards are placed one after the other and always with a half-length offset and also secured by means of 'liaison bodies such as 7.
- The ferrule thus formed is covered by a series of finishing elements 8 fitted onto the crown elements 6, covering the possible sealing fabric placed inside the reservoir thus formed.
- In the event that the internal pressure of the contents of the tank requires it, the shell thus formed can be reinforced by the addition of external straps located at the critical locations of the shell.
