<EMI ID=1.1>

<EMI ID=3.1>

is aangeduid.

This invention relates to a method
for the realization of prefabricated panels for
fireplaces as well as on the prefabricated panels obtained by this method.
It is known that a fireplace is essentially formed
is provided by a so-called actual chimney or inner jacket
and a decorative fireplace or outer casing, where the inner casing
is part of the shell of a home and the outer casing is fitted later when one is attached to the actual
finishing of the house begins.
<EMI ID = 1.1>
rough work, the outer casing of a fireplace or the like is a real decorative work that is made with relatively expensive materials.
must be carried out with great precision.
It is also known that building such ornamental
<EMI ID = 2.1>
is a work that takes a very long time
and thus becomes very expensive. There most of it
of the cost of such mantelpiece is formed by it
number of hours of work required to build each chimney
has been considered according to the present invention
fireplace elements, with other elements that form the ornamental hew. to be prepared in the factory in advance, whereby these elements can easily be placed on site
and connect together so that one obtains that the total
the number of hours required to realize a decorative fireplace is noticeably reduced compared to the traditional one
<EMI ID = 3.1>
cost price of the finished product is considerably lower.
The present invention relates to such prefabricated panels as well as to the method that allows
to obtain these panels. This method consists in applying, on a suitable support, a mold delimiting a space the dimensions of which are equal to the external dimensions of the panel to be produced; placing in this thus delimited space, additional shapes for blocks and the like in order to demarcate and / or fill the places where
<EMI ID = 4.1>
said space of a layer of concrete mortar or the like with a thickness approximately equal to half the thickness of the
<EMI ID = 5.1>
layer of concrete mortar of suitable reinforcement; applying a second layer of concrete mortar over this reinforcement; and arranging the actual decorative tiles, stones or the like at suitable distances, taking into account the thickness of the joints and the like.
In order to better demonstrate the characteristics of the invention, this method is described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: <EMI ID = 6.1> different stages for realizing panels according to the invention, figures 2-4 -6 and 8 are sections respectively according to the lines II-II, IV-IV, VI-VI and VIII-VIII in figures 1-3-5 and 7; figure 9 represents the part indicated by F9 in figure 8 to a larger scale; figure 10 is a view similar to that of figure 9, but for an embodiment variant; figure 11 shows an exploded view of a fireplace construction consisting of three panels made according to the present invention.
<EMI ID = 7.1> panel must show. The height of the battens will preferably be equal to the thickness that the panel will acquire.
Subsequently, other demarcations are provided in this space thus demarcated, including a first demarcation

thickness that the panel will exhibit, which is necessary to obtain that the side of the panel at this location is also realized in the material in which the decorative element is built. These blocks can be arranged both horizontally and vertically as can be seen from the figures and they are indicated by a single reference. The guard bar part that

is indicated. When the orm has thus been filled, the thin stones 24 will be applied in a suitable manner and this according to the desired drawing, after which the whole will be allowed to harden.
Once hardened, the panel can be picked up and one will
