DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING N CONNECTING ELECTRICAL
BUILDING ELEMENTS AND CHAINS ..
The invention relates to a device for supporting and connecting electrical building elements and circuits formed by at least several insulating plates which are substantially parallel to each other and carry electrical building elements and conductors.
Such a device is known from Belgian patent specification 571.023.
However, this known device takes up a lot of space and is complicated.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The object of the invention is to provide a device of the above-mentioned type, but of smaller dimensions and of simple design and construction.
The device according to the invention is characterized in that each of the two insulating plates bears a number of metalized notches on its edges, e.g. on its top and bottom edges, and that the electrical building elements of; the devices are housed in the space between the two plates such that a connection wire of a building element is connected to a metallized notch of one of the two plates, while another connection wire of the building element is connected to a metalized notch of the other of the two plates.
The invention further relates to a connector device with pluggable metal terminals for connecting electrical circuits carried by an insulating plate to external electrical circuits, each of the terminals comprising three parts, a first and a second part to be connected to electrical circuits. of the insulation board and a third part to be connected to external electrical circuits.
Such a device is known from French Patent Specification 1,299,039.
The above-mentioned device according to the invention is characterized in that the insulation plate bears a number of metalized notches on its edges, e.g. on the top and bottom edges, and that the first and second parts engage in a first and a second metalized notch, resp. located on a first and a second edge of the insulation plate and that the third part along the plane of the insulation

plate postpones.
The invention will now be described with reference to the drawing in which:
Fig. 1 schematically indicates a cross section of a device for supporting and connecting according to the invention;
Fig. 2 is a plan view of a portion of an insulating plate which is part of the device of Fig. 1 and carries metallized notches on its top and bottom edges;
Fig. 3 schematically shows another part of the device of Fig. 1; Fig. 4 represents an H-form @@ e metal terminal in the device of Fig. 1.
The device shown in Figs. 1 to 4 is assumed to be a module, which carries an electrical circuit (not shown), e.g., one flip-flop, a gate, an inverter, etc., which has or more complete basic logic. functions.This module contains two vertical plates with printed Potent 1 and 1 'and electrical building elements such as 4 and 4' of the above electrical circuits.
Each of these printed circuit boards 1 and 1 has a number of metallized notches 8 and 9 (FIG. 2) arranged in the top and bottom edges such that a metallized notch 8 or 9 at the top edge is on the same vertical. is like a corresponding metalized notch 8 or 9 on the bottom edge. Printed conductors (not shown) connect these metallized inks 8 and 9 according to the electrical schematic of the module.
Each electrical building element such as 4 and 4 'is arranged between the step @ parallel plates 1 and 1' and is connected with one connection
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
wire soldered to a particular metallized inspin? 'to the top or bottom edge of the plate 1, while the other lead wire is soldered to an opposite metallized ink ring 8 on the top or bottom edge of the plate 1'.
Obviously, in construction elements with more than two connection wires such as transistors, more than one connection wire, e.g. two connection wires, must be soldered in corresponding metallized notches of one of the two plates, while the remaining connection wires must be soldered in metallized notches of the other plate.
The inputs and the outputs of the electrical circuits of the module are electrically connected to the printed conductors such as 10 and 10 'which are located on a main printed circuit board 3, by means of pluggable strip-shaped terminals such as 2 and 2' (fig. .3) and corresponding H-shaped winding terminal clips such as 5 and 5 '(Fig. 4). These H-shaped terminals 5 and 5 'are described in Belgian Patent Specification 646,865 et seq.
soldered on the side to the printed conductors 10 and 10 'and on the other hand connected to the parts of the pluggable strip-shaped terminals 2 and 2', which protrude through the main plate 3 by means of the wraps 7 and 7 '. Other wraps'
6 and 6 'on the other legs of the H-shaped connection terminals
5 and 5 'may optionally be used to connect external circuits to printed conductors 10 and 10'.
The strip-shaped clamps such as 2 and 2 'are attached to the plates 1 and 1' by their horizontal top and parts falling into and soldered to the plates of metalized notches 9 of the and 1 'which are on the same vertical line. The lower vertical parts! of the terminals 2 and 2 'protrude into the planes of the
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
insulation boards 1 and 1 '.
The invention is by no means limited to the described embodiment, which therefore does not have a limiting character.
