<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

"Container of euteotic mixtures for refrigeration installations", -
Containers are known for euteotic mixing, intended for use in refrigeration installations comprising a sheet metal casing enclosing a tubular coil of iron or copper in which circulates a refrigerant suitable for cooling the mixture.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The invention relates to a type oe container, of reduced weight compared to known oonteneura, the size and the capacity being the same; this container is therefore particularly suitable for use in refrigeration cells mounted on means of transport.
The container for eutectic mixtures according to the invention essentially comprises a casing of light alloy enclosing an internal element constituted by a sheet of light metal alloy in the thickness of the wall of which channels are incorporated, this element being fixed in a manner tight around its contour to the walls of the enclosure,
The invention is described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, where: - Figure 1 is a perspective view of the container according to the invention; - Figure 2 is a partial sectional view on an enlarged scale, on the line II-II of Figure 1, and; - Figure 3 is a schematic plan view of the inner sheet member.
An element made of sheet metal, preferably of light metal alloy or of aluminum, indicated by 1, has channels 2 in the thickness of its wall, obtained by the known process called "Roll-Bond II.
The element 1 is enclosed in an envelope comprising two stamped shells 3 of light metal alloy, the assembly being sealed on its edges by a continuous weld 4.

The envelope has a hole 7, which can be closed, for the introduction of an euteotic mixture which fills the interior cavity of this envelope.
The channels 2, provided in the thickness of the inner sheet element 1, form a coil, the ends 5 and 6 of which project outward for the connection of the coil to a refrigerant installation, in order to ensure the cooling of the eutectic mixture,
When the desired temperature is reached, the container is uncoupled from the refrigeration installation, the container then being ready for use in a refrigeration cell.
The container according to the invention is of less weight compared to the usual containers comprising a zinc-plated iron tank containing a tubular iron or copper coil, the size and the capacity being the same. In addition, the refrigeration circuit being the same, the container according to the invention ensures faster heat exchange during cooling of the eutectic mixture.
Parai the various possible applications of the oontoneur according to the invention, mention is made, by way of nonlimiting example, of its use on refrigeration units mounted on means of transport, weight reduction then being particularly advantageous.
Of course, the invention is in no way limited to the embodiment described and shown which has been given only by way of example.
