   On sait que les rubans ou   bandea   employées jusqu'à présent pour la fermeture et   l'ouverture   des fermetures enrou- lables s'usent facielement   à   cause du frottement qu'elles su- bissent dans les fentes par lesquelles elles sont introduites dans les dispositifs d'enroulement et dans les dispositifs de blocage de ces bandes dans la position voulue.

   On sait également que le plus grand frottement et par conséquent la plus grande usure à laquelle les bandes précitées sont soumises s'exerce sur les bords longitudinaux, de sorte que les fils'de la chaîne et de la trame- en ces points se rom- pent facilement et causent peu à peu la rupture des fils succes- sifs jusqu'à la rupture complète de la bande, rupture qui se produit, évidemment, de manière imprévue et telle que, dans cer- taines conditions, elle peut même provoquer des accidents aux personnes. 



   Le but de la présente invention est d'obvier à cet inconvénient en réalisant une bande de manoeuvre pour fermetures enroulables, constituée d'une matière thermoplastique armée longitudinalement d'une matière relativement rigide. 



   L'invention va être décrite plus en détail ci-après avec référence à la planche'de dessins ci-annexée, dont : la figure 1 représente un tronçon de la bande ou ru- ban vu en plan, et la figure 2 représente une coupe transversale de la même bande. 



   Dans ces figures,l désigne la bande-de matière thermo- plastique;2 et 3 désignent des éléments filiformes flexibles de matière relativement rigide d'armature, noyés dans ladite matière thermoplastique. Les fils longitudinaux latéraux 3 ont une plus grande section que les fils 2, de manière à obtenir les. bords longitudinaux 4 et 5..de la bande, légèrement épaissis, afin d'offrir une surface de contact plus grande et par consé- quent plus résistante aux points où s'exerce le plus grand frottement. 



   Avec la bande réalisée selon la présente invention, on obtient, autre l'avantage susmentionné, que le   frottement   soit   notablement   réduit, parce que la-matière thermoplastique de cou-   verture   présente une   surface   de .contact un peu plus glissante . 



     Up   autre avantage de la bande réalisée selon la présen- te invention est dû au fait que ladite bande peut être lavée et

   The object of the present invention is to obviate this drawback by producing an operating strip for roll-up closures, made of a thermoplastic material reinforced longitudinally with a relatively rigid material.



   The invention will be described in more detail below with reference to the attached drawing board, of which: FIG. 1 represents a section of the strip or strip seen in plan, and FIG. 2 represents a section. transverse of the same strip.



   In these figures, 1 denotes the strip of thermoplastic material, 2 and 3 denote flexible filiform elements of relatively rigid reinforcing material, embedded in said thermoplastic material.
