LIQUID DISPENSER DEVICE.
The present invention relates to a device for dispensing liquids and especially to a device for dispensing beverages such as, for example, wines, liqueurs and the like.
It is known that these liquors and other drinks are found in flasks or bottles, the capacity of which varies according to the nature of the drink which is then dispensed in glasses of different capacities; it is clear that the number of glasses which one obtains from a given bottle depends on the way in which the glasses are filled.
The present invention consists of a liquid dispensing device by means of which it is possible to dispense from a container of given capacity always the same number of glasses.
In one embodiment, a dispensing device according to the invention puts the container containing the liquid in connection with a gauged element, passing through a valve which is connected with a means for emptying said element. On a pipe leading from the container to the gauged element is mounted an inlet valve which is integral with another valve making it possible to empty said element.
According to one characteristic, the gauged element mounted on the socket of the inlet valve itself carries the rotating socket of the drain valve; the two integral taps provided with a single control are arranged so that one of them is open while the other is closed and vice versa. In addition, on the body of the inlet valve is provided an orifice putting the interior of the gauge element in communication with atmospheric air when the drain valve is in the open position.
Other features may appear in the following description of the appended drawings, given by way of illustration of one embodiment of the invention.

horizontally, the bottle to be emptied, the neck of which is shown at 2, is capped with a pipe 3 provided with a valve not shown. This conduit is mounted on the end of the body 5 of a valve 5 ', the rotating sleeve 6 of which is controlled by the rod 7 and the handle 8. At the end of the sleeve 6 is fixed a removable gauged element 9 which itself carries a part constituting the rotating sleeve 10 of the drain valve 11 of the gauged element. The body of this valve 11 is connected to a discharge pipe 12.
In the device described, the sockets 6 and 10 are respectively integral with the gauged element, the socket-gauged element assembly being set in motion by the single control 7. Furthermore, the valves are arranged such that one is in the closed position while the other is in the open position and vice versa. By this system, when the valve 5 'is open, the liquid flows from the container into the gauged element 9 which fills; by closing 5 'the valve 11 is opened and the gauged element is brought into contact with the air through the orifice 12; this gauged element empties, the liquid evacuating through the valve 11 and the conduit 12.
Depending on the capacity of the gauged element 9, a variable number of glasses is delivered with the device according to the invention; but always the same as soon as this capacity is fixed.
