<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Le réchauffement de l'eau contenue dans l'accumulateur se fait en partie par le contact de la vapeur avec le plan d'eau et principalement par la circulation d'eau,qui s'établit entre l'eau de l'accumulateur et celle du générateur,par les tubes de descente 5 et les tubes d'ascension 6.Les tubes d'ascension 6 sont.,tous ou en partie,dans le corps cylindrique supérieur, reliés au moyen de tubes courbés 11 directement avec les extrémités des tubes d'ascension 10 du générateur ;
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
'pour-atteindre exactement un réchauffement suffisant de l'eau de 1accumulateur,tandis que la vapeur produite dans la chaudière est principalement conduite au corps cylindrique supérieur.Par le fait que les pièces de jointure 11 sont facilement démontables,le degré de réchauffage désiré de l'eau d'alimentation peut être réglé par 11 augmentation ou la diminution des raccordements.

The invention relates to a heat accumulator at equal pressure arranged above the boiler, and connected with the latter on the water side and on the steam side. In this heat accumulator at equal pressure, the heating of the water contained therein takes place mainly by a circulation of water which is automatically established between the accumulator and the upper cylindrical body of the generator placed below it. reinforce this automatic heating, according to the invention, part of the upward circulation current of the generator is sent into the accumulator and the circulation of water between the accumulator and the boiler will be closed by means of down tubes connecting the accumulator to the boiler and preferably to the upper cylindrical body of the latter.This arrangement becomes the most efficient,
if the partial current is diverted to the accumulator from a place in the ascending circulatory current where there are the most vapor bubbles, for example in "Heat accumulator at equal pressure placed above @ Boiler."
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
- boilers with tubes very inclined towards the vertical by diverting this partial current on the boilers located in the first fire zone.
The invention is shown by way of example in two embodiments in the accompanying drawing.
Figure 1 shows in vertical section a boiler with two cylindrical bodies with tubes very inclined towards the vertical with a heat accumulator at equal pressure placed above, a part of which of the generator riser tubes pass through the upper cylindrical body in the water chamber of the accumulator.
Figure 2 shows the same arrangement, while part of the steam generator riser tubes are introduced directly into the water chamber of the accumulator.
The equal-pressure heat accumulator 1, arranged above the upper cylindrical body 2 of the steam generator, is connected with the upper cylindrical body by the steam line 3, the return pipe 5 and the riser pipe 6. The water level is maintained in the upper cylindrical body during operation at equal height by the bell 7. The accumulator receives its feed water through the pipe, and by means of the valve 9 the steam produced is discharged from the vapor chamber of the accumulator towards the place of its use.
The water contained in the accumulator is heated in part by the contact of the steam with the body of water and mainly by the circulation of water, which is established between the water in the accumulator and that of the generator, by the down tubes 5 and the riser tubes 6 The riser tubes 6 are., all or in part, in the upper cylindrical body, connected by means of curved tubes 11 directly with the ends of the tubes rise 10 of the generator;
as a result the mixture of hot water and the steam bubbles, rising at a considerable speed in the ascension tubes, is introduced directly into the water chamber of the accumulator. Of course, only as many tubes will be connected. 'ascent 10 with the accumulator through the curves of pipes 11, that it is necessary
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
'to achieve exactly sufficient heating of the water in the accumulator, while the steam produced in the boiler is mainly conducted to the upper cylindrical body. By the fact that the joining pieces 11 are easily removable, the desired degree of heating of The feed water can be regulated by increasing or decreasing the connections.
It is naturally just as well instead of the tubes 10 to connect with the heat accumulator pipes of the bundle of tubes 12, in order to maintain the water contained therein at the desired temperature, in which it should be observed that only are suitable pipes subjected to very strong heating and which conduct. a strong current of circulatory ascension.
In Figure 2, riser tubes 10 of the boiler are led directly into the heat accumulator without passing through the upper cylindrical body. However, it is also possible to have riser tubes between the cylindrical body and the accumulator.
CLAIMS.
