Abstract

The lawnmower is driven by pedals (21) which drive a small cam wheel (9) connected via a chain(13) to a large cam wheel (10) mounted on the same axle (8) as two front wheels (11). Cam wheels (12) mounted on this drive axle on the outside of the wheels are connected via chains (14) to smaller cam wheels (17) used to rotate the mowing cylinder (16). The lawnmower has a rear wheel (1) mounted in a bearing (2) at the rear end. A seat (3) is mounted on the struts (7) connecting the rear wheel bearing to the drive axle. A steering wheel (4) is connected via a steering shaft (6) to a rotary disc which in turn is connected via rods (22) to a fork for steering the rear wheel to the left or right. A roll (19) and height adjustment mechanism (15) is used to alter cutting height. Grass is cut between a fixed blade (18) and rotary blades on the mowing cylinder.

Description

   <Desc / Clms Page number 1>

  Eco lawn mower.

This lawn mower consists of a tricycle and a cutting element. Three comb wheels are on thruster axle (8).

Comb wheel 9 is moved along chain 13 with the aid of the pedals (21) and comb wheel 10. Comb wheel 9 is considerably larger than comb wheel 10 and is fixed on the shaft.

The two wheels (11) of the tricycle stand at the end of axle 8, the thrust axle, packed in bearings. About 7 cm outside the wheels (11) are comb wheels (12) which move cutter cylinder 16 along a chain (14) and the much smaller comb wheel (17).

The rear wheel (1) rotates in a bearing (2) that forms a whole along connections with the axle (8).

Mounted on these connections 7 is a seat (3) which can be shifted along a ledge, depending on the length of the person operating the mower.

The steering wheel (4) moves a disc along the steering shaft (6) in a rotating movement, that is, in turn, connected by rods (22) to the fork, a left and a right, of the rear wheel (1), so that this is the completely in one direction.

The cutting height is adjusted with the roller (19) with the aid of the height controls (15).

The grass is cut between the fixed blade (18) and the rotating blades on the cutter roll (16).

Claims (1)

  1. Conclusion The pedals (21) move the shaft (8) along comb wheels 10 and 9. Comb wheel 10 is considerably smaller than comb wheel 9.
Here one does the opposite from the bicycle; .men converts speed into power. The whole thing moves at a speed of 2 to 3 km per hour, sufficient for a lawn mower and one has a much greater force, sufficient to move the lawn mower easily.
The comb wheels 12, in turn, are much larger than the comb wheels 17, which cause the cutter cylinder to rotate at a high speed. As a result, the grass is cut smoothly and offers less resistance due to the energy.
The cutting height is controlled by a roller (19) that can be adjusted higher or lower by the height controls (15).
The fixed blade, together with the moving cutting blades on the cylinder, grasp the grass stops. (18) and (16).
The distance between the comb wheels (17) is approximately 15 cm greater than the distance between the wheels 11. As a result, the mowing roller protrudes sufficiently left and right to mow edges.
The handlebar is connected along a shaft (6) to a disc (5). Here, left and right, two rods (22) leave, each connected to a fork of the rear wheel, which turns the lawn mower in one direction.
The comb wheel 9 is fixed for the deterioration.
The bottom of the drip tray consists of two halves.
These can move in a ledge on ball bearings against jamming. Both halves are pulled in separately on a rope. They are pulled back into place with a strong spring. This allows you to unload the grass whenever and wherever you want without getting off.
