MACHINE D'USINAGE POUR BROSSES
EMI1.2

MACHINERY MACHINE FOR BRUSHES
EMI1.2
1-5. present invention relates to a machining oven kiln rounding the ends of brush bristles. especially toothbrushes.
For rounding the ends of brush bristles. often the flus after a couse of the brush foils, the brushes are brought, showing the end of the bristles, to a rotating grinding wheel, and the sharp cutting edges are rounded. Thanks to the circumferential speed defending from the distance because it is a stress on the axis of rotation of the rotating grinding wheel, different sanding results are achieved for the end of the brush bristle.
The object of the present invention is to create a machining machine of the type mentioned above, by means of which a better result of sanding or rounding the ends of brush bristles is obtained.
As a solution to this problem, it is proposed according to the invention that the machine has a belt sander with a rotating sanding belt, and that the belt sander is placed on an axis of rotation located at approximately right angles to relative to its sanding plane and is connected to a rotation control.
Such a card belt sander, in relation to its width of sander belt, a sanding speed always equal, so that all the ends of the bristles of brushes feel machined approximately equally. The additional rotary movement of the belt sander is used for this so that the ends of the brush bristles are sanded in almost all directions, so that they are roughly rounded as desired

It is particularly advantageous if the rotation control simultaneously forms the actuation for the

rotation-2. band rotation movement. Thus, the energy expenditure for the machining machine can be kept relatively low, and the two working movements are directly coordinated.
EMI2.2
A raieue embodiment sees eue the rotation control is fitted to the carcass of the belt sander and that the rotary movement of the belt derives from the rotational movement of the carcass via a member

In addition, the already mentioned fixed coupling of the two movements

work is present here as well. w An appreciable embodiment provides that the sanding strip has, in addition to its two deflecting cylinders delimiting its sanding plane, a third deflecting cylinder which is preferably placed in its median plane at a certain distance from the other two, and that the strip control member fits onto the shaft of this deflector cylinder. Thanks to this, the length of the sanding belt is increased, so that its usage time is also increased. In addition, by the presence of a third deflector cylinder, which also fits the control, a good rotational symmetry is obtained.

Others Other disclosures T "T * ï" "'' taires of the invention are cited in the following subclaims. In what follows, the main features of the invention are explained in more detail by means drawings.
We show: Fig. 1: a side view of a machining machine FIG. 2: a side view of the machine taken at 900 with respect to FIG. 1 A machining machine 1 shown in fig. 1 and 2 is used for rounding the ends of brush bristles 2 of toothbrushes 3 or other brushes. The machining machine has for this purpose a belt sander 4 with a rotary sanding belt 5. This sanding belt 5 is guided on two deflecting rollers 7 delimiting its laying plane or machining 6, and is further guided on a third deflector cylinder 8.
For the machining of the brush bristle ends 2, the toothbrush 3 is brought in, showing the ends of the brush bristles, against the sanding belt 5, and at this point the often pointed brush bristle ends are rounded off by a cutting process.
For then, when sanding the ends of brush bristles, obtain a particularly satisfactory result with ends
