Abstract

Un couvercle (1) en tôle pour boîtes dont le contenu est sous une pression interne, comporte au moins une languette d'ouverture (4) découpée partiellement à l'emporte-pièce à même le couvercle, tout en ménageant une zone de jointure (6), ainsi qu'une ouverture correspondante (2) formée par le découpage partiel à l'emportepièce, la languette d'ouverture (4) et/ou la zone du couvercle, qui entoure l'ouverture (2), étant soumises à un formage à froid de telle sorte que la zone marginale (8) de l'ouverture (2) recouvre la zone marginale (4a) de la languette d'ouverture (4) sur la face extérieure (1a) du couvercle. Sur la face intérieure (1b) du couvercle, on applique un plastisol (10) en une configuration annulaire sur les zones marginales (4a, 8) de la languette d'ouverture (4) et de l'ouverture (2), tandis qu'on le laisse gélifier sous l'action de la chaleur. Avant son application ou sa gélification, le plastisol (10) a une viscosité eta D441s-1 (40 degrés C) d'environ 2.000-2.800 mPa.s et un angle mouillant alpha d'environ 30-40 degrés tandis que, après sa gélification, il a une résistance à la traction de 0,4-1,0 N/mm2 et un allongement maximum de 120-250%.
