Abstract

A set of profiles consisting of a U-shaped basic profile (20) and a covering profile (30) which can be attached to its legs (22, 23) is used for the framework of a utility vehicle body, particularly as posts (6). The basic profile (20) is incorporated into the framework with outwardly open channel (24) and connected to the cross bands (2, 3) through its solid wall base (21) by means of connecting elements (25, 26) and bolts (27). In order to increase the angular rigidity, reinforcing elements (28) are inserted in the basic profile channel (24) at the corner joints as required. Since the covering profile (30) is fitted subsequently all the fastening and reinforcing elements are concealed. <IMAGE>
