Abstract
The invention discloses auxiliary device for piglet medicine infusion and a use method
thereof. When the piglet's oral cavity is infused, the nostrils are required to be blocked to
prevent the medicine from being spit out from the piglet's mouth, which affects the treatment
effect, especially when the farms often use conventional syringes for operation, which further
increases the workload of the operators. The invention comprises: a tube body, two mouth
supporting pieces, two handles, and a nose blocking device for blocking nostrils, wherein the
tube body is a cylindrical tube body in hollow structure with a through hole at the front end
thereof; the two mouth supporting pieces are respectively symmetrically fixed on the upper
and lower sides of the front end of the tube body; the middle part of the tube body is fixed
with the nose blocking device.

[0001] The invention relates to an auxiliary device for piglet medicine infusion and a use
method thereof.
[0002] In the pig breeding process, the piglet stage is the stage with a high incidence of
diseases, and the common diseases of piglets, such as yellow and white scour, viral diarrhea,
constipation and other digestive tract diseases, are often treated by drug administration; the
treatment at this stage has the problems of a large number of treatments, complicated
operations, and a large amount of labor; especially when the piglet's oral cavity is infused, the
nostrils are required to be blocked to prevent the medicine from being spit out from the
piglet's mouth, which affects the treatment effect, especially when the farms often use
conventional syringes for operation, which further increases the workload of the operators.

and lower sides of the front end of the tube body; the middle part of the tube body is fixed
with the nose blocking device;
[0006] the nose blocking device comprises a pillar, a nose blocking plate and a soft rubber pad; the pillar is fixed on the tube body; the nose blocking plate is fixed on the pillar; the nose blocking plate is a vertically arranged elliptical plate; the soft rubber pad is plugged and fixed with the nose blocking plate.
[0007] The mouth supporting piece comprises a supporting rod and a supporting plate; the supporting plate is arranged horizontally and fixed on the supporting rod; the supporting rod is fixed on the side of the tube body.
[0008] The back of the soft rubber pad is provided with two inserting columns, and the inserting columns are inserted into round holes in the corresponding positions of the nose blocking plate.
[0009] The nose blocking plate is a vertically arranged elliptical plate; the long axis end of the elliptical plate is horizontal, and the short axis end thereof is vertical.
[0010] The two handles are fixed on the upper and lower sides of the rear end of the tube body, and the handles are circular or elliptical rings.
[0011] A use method of the auxiliary device for piglet medicine infusion, wherein the method comprises the following steps:
[0012] (1) after disinfecting the auxiliary device for medicine infusion, putting the replaceable soft rubber pad on the horizontal elliptical metal plate on the top of the nose blocking device;
[0013] (2) inhaling the medicine in a conventional disposable syringe and putting it into the tube body;
[0014] (3) holding the piglet with one hand, and holding the handle with the index and middle fingers of the other hand; attaching the bottom of the syringe plunger on the palm near the purlicue, and placing the tube body in the piglet's mouth; supporting the piglet's cavity with the upper and lower mouth supporting pieces, and attaching the nose blocking device near the piglet's nostrils; attaching the soft rubber pad to the piglet's nose, and blocking the nostrils with the soft rubber pad, making it impossible to breathe through the nasal cavity; slowly pushing the medicine into the cavity; when the piglet howls or breathes through the mouth, the medicine is swallowed into the stomach, and one medicine infusion is finished;
[0015] (4) using alcohol, iodophor and other oral disinfectants to apply the front part of the
tube body, the mouth supporting pieces and the soft rubber pad of the nose blocking device, or replacing the soft rubber pad of the nose blocking device to proceed the next piglet's infusion.

In the invention, the holder and the syringe can be used in combination, so that the infusion can be carried out while holding the piglet, which can realize one-person operation; at the same time, attaching the soft rubber pad to the piglet's nose, and blocking the nostrils with the soft rubber pad, making it impossible to breathe through the nasal cavity; slowly pushing the medicine into the cavity; when the piglet howls or breathes through the mouth, the medicine is swallowed into the stomach, which can prevent the piglet's nostrils from being blocked when the medicine is infused, and one medicine infusion is finished.

Claims (6)
1. An auxiliary device for piglet medicine infusion, comprising a tube body, two mouth
supporting pieces, two handles, and a nose blocking device for blocking nostrils, wherein the
tube body is a cylindrical tube body in hollow structure with a through hole at the front end
thereof; the two mouth supporting pieces are respectively symmetrically fixed on the upper
and lower sides of the front end of the tube body; the middle part of the tube body is fixed
with the nose blocking device;
the nose blocking device comprises a pillar, a nose blocking plate and a soft rubber pad;
the pillar is fixed on the tube body; the nose blocking plate is fixed on the pillar; the nose
blocking plate is a vertically arranged elliptical plate; the soft rubber pad is plugged and fixed
with the nose blocking plate.
2. The auxiliary device for piglet medicine infusion according to claim 1, wherein the
mouth supporting piece comprises a supporting rod and a supporting plate; the supporting
plate is arranged horizontally and fixed on the supporting rod; the supporting rod is fixed on
the side of the tube body.
3. The auxiliary device for piglet medicine infusion according to claim 2, wherein the
back of the soft rubber pad is provided with two inserting columns, and the inserting columns
are inserted into round holes in the corresponding positions of the nose blocking plate.
4. The auxiliary device for piglet medicine infusion according to claim 3, wherein the
nose blocking plate is a vertically arranged elliptical plate; the long axis end of the elliptical
plate is horizontal, and the short axis end thereof is vertical.
5. The auxiliary device for piglet medicine infusion according to claim 4, wherein the
two handles are fixed on the upper and lower sides of the rear end of the tube body, and the
handles are circular or elliptical rings.
6. A use method of the auxiliary device for piglet medicine infusion according to any one
of claims I to 5, wherein the method comprises the following steps:
(1) after disinfecting the auxiliary device for medicine infusion, putting the replaceable
soft rubber pad on the horizontal elliptical metal plate on the top of the nose blocking device;
(2) inhaling the medicine in a conventional disposable syringe and putting it into the tube
body;
(3) holding the piglet with one hand, and holding the handle with the index and middle fingers of the other hand; attaching the bottom of the syringe plunger on the palm near the purlicue, and placing the tube body in the piglet' s mouth; supporting the piglet' s cavity with the upper and lower mouth supporting pieces, and attaching the nose blocking device near the piglet' s nostrils; attaching the soft rubber pad to the piglet' s nose, and blocking the nostrils with the soft rubber pad, making it impossible to breathe through the nasal cavity; slowly pushing the medicine into the cavity; when the piglet howls or breathes through the mouth, the medicine is swallowed into the stomach, and one medicine infusion is finished; (4) using alcohol, iodophor and other oral disinfectants to apply the front part of the tube body, the mouth supporting pieces and the soft rubber pad of the nose blocking device, or replacing the soft rubber pad of the nose blocking device to proceed the next piglet ' s infusion.
