Abstract

The present invention relates to a formulation, which can be in the form of a liquid, cream, serum or gel that is applied to mammalian skin to regrow, increase the rate of growth and thicken mammalian hair. The present invention is specifically applicable to individuals who are suffering from, but not limited to, male pattern baldness (MPB). The invention achieves hair regrowth and thickening by saturating the hair follicle with specific nutrients required for hair growth. The Formulation contains a. Disodic adenosine monophosphate b. Heptaminol hydrochloride c. Magnesium aspartate d. Postassium aspartate e. Sodium selenite f. Cyanocobalamin g. Gylcerin and h. Water

Description

1 HAIR REGROWTH AND HAIR THICKENING FORMULA FIELD OF INVENTION The present invention relates to a "formulation" that can be applied to mammalian skin to re-grow or thicken mammalian hair. More specifically, the current invention relates to a formulation that is applied daily to humans who are suffering with, or who have suffered from: a) Androgenetic alopecia (male-pattern baldness). b) Traction alopecia c) Trichotillomania d) Telogen effluvium e) Temporary or permanent hair loss can be caused by several medications, including those for blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and cholesterol. f) Worrisome hair loss. g) Hair loss caused by poor nutrition. h) Hair loss caused by environmental factors, such as air and water pollutants. i) Alopecia areata. j) Hair loss caused by Hypothyroidism. k) Involutional alopecia 1) Demodex folliculorum. More than 95% of hair thinning in men is male pattern baldness (MPB), or androgenetic alopecia. Male pattern baldness is characterized by hair receding from the lateral sides of the forehead (known as a "receding hairline") and/or a thinning crown (balding to the area known as the "vertex"). Both become more pronounced until they eventually meet, leaving a horseshoe-shaped ring of hair around the back of the head. Over 60%, on average, of the worlds' population will suffer from male pattern baldness at some stage of their life. Much research went into the genetic component of male pattern baldness, or androgenetic alopecia (AGA). Research indicates that susceptibility to premature male pattern baldness is largely the cause of sex influenced inheritance (because males can pass on the trait to their sons, which would be impossible if it were x-linked). Other genes that are not sex linked are also involved. I am hypothesising that this sex-influenced inheritance of AGA, leads to a progressive diminish of nutrients in the mammalian hair follicle. Over time, the 2 follicle does not have enough nutrients to produce strong, healthy hair. Hair becomes finer and less pigmented and eventually stops growing. The current invention involves the application of a "nutrient rich" product to the dry scalp of MPB sufferers. The product is applied to the scalp twice daily. The product is massaged into the scalp. The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are as follows: I. The invention is a formulation containing, a. Disodic adenosine monophosphate b. Heptaminol hydrochloride c. Magnesium aspartate d. Postassium aspartate e. Sodium selenite f. Cyanocobalamin g. Gylcerin h. Water II. The composition recited in Claim I can be made as a liquid, serum, cream, foam or gel. III. The composition recited in Claims I-IT can be applied to any part of the mammalian body, including, but not limited to: a. The head b. The face c. The eyebrows d. The arms e. The chest f. The legs g. The back IV. The composition recited in Claims I-III can be applied to the mammalian body by hand, or by using any other "mechanical" means. V. The composition recited in Claims I-IV increases the rate of hair growth. VT. The composition recited in Claims I-V thickens hair. VII. The composition recited in Claims I-VI is used to treat male pattern baldness (MPB), also known as androgenetic alopecia (AGA).
