Abstract

The invention concerns a protective footwear such as a boot or the like, for use in particular for motor cycle riding or for sports in general. Said footwear is characterised in that, integral with the front (3), substantially at the ankle are provided on either side, left and right of the footwear, at least a substantially spherical cap against which slides internally and/or externally another spherical cap integral on each side, left and right of the footwear, with the upper (4) of the footwear, means being provided which limit the relative sliding movements of the caps integral with the upper.
