Abstract

The proposal is for an edging frame for building in objets, especially in sanitary installations, like shower trays, etc., making adaptation to any special peculiarities of the point of installation possible on the spot. This is achieved by the invention in that there is a separate frame strip for fitting between the built-in item and the mating wall which is so wide that, when built in, it projects above the height of the built-in item in the region of the wall joint and has a sealing surface to provide a watertight joint with a wall-contacting surface of the built-in item substantially parallel to the wall.
