Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

   <Desc / Clms Page number 1>

  The invention relates to a joint sheet for sealing separating joints, construction joints or concrete joints that arise when concreting a concrete part to an already existing concrete part. When concreting related concrete parts that are concreted one after the other in time, joints are created at the connection points that are permeable to water. In order to achieve seals, joint sheets or joint tapes of different materials are concreted in, which, however, only permit inadequate sealing.

  The invention enables an improved sealing of the parting line by a special coating of the joint plate.

  The invention is a galvanized sheet metal strip 2 coated on both sides with butyl rubber 1 (reinforced with a scrim 3 in the middle of the butyl layer, protected on the outside with a silicon paper divided in the longitudinal direction).

  After the silicone protective paper 4 has been removed, the joint sheets are bonded to one another by simply firmly pressing the two coated sheet metal joint tape ends with an overlap length of 10 cm. The special formulation of the coating 1 enables the connection points to be glued under special environmental conditions without additional material, tool or force. This means that the connection adheres to one another exactly under water, as at temperatures of minus 25 oe 0 or at temperatures of plus 45 C.

  The special coating 1 reacts with a component of the fresh cement paste in the concrete and the concrete thus adheres to the surface of the joint sheet in a force-locking manner, absolutely impermeable to water. Movements caused by the shrinkage deformation of the concrete are reduced by the thread scrim 4 incorporated into the flexible butyl rubber coating 1.

  The advantages of this specially developed coating on sheet metal strip are as follows: They enable the individual joints to be connected quickly and easily without additional aids or tools. The concreting depth for achieving waterproofness is 3 cm. This results in a simplification of the structural design of the reinforcement, since the coated sheet metal joint tape S traThoFlex 1 S0 rests on the top layer of the reinforcement and not, as with uncoated sheet metal tapes or the P VC construction joint tapes with an elaborate joint tape basket has to be worked.

  The problem-free and quick connection of the joints even at temperatures below 0 C, without the joint having to be fused at the connection joints with gas flames.

  The unique possibility to connect the coated sheet metal joint tape non-positively and impermeable to water even under water without tools or tools.

  The invention is explained in more detail with reference to a drawing:
FIG. 1 shows a sheet metal strip 2 coated with a butyl rubber 1 (provided with a Gcvwebearmierung 3), which is provided on the outside on both sides with a silicone protective paper 4 divided in the middle.
