Magnet-electric machine with stationary field magnet and rotating poi shoes.

One of the anchor pins. e.g. j, carries a disc / that rotates with the pole slide housing. The ignition thumbs J are provided on this. The breaker K is on the pin h

Hysteresis are not subject to.
If each disc has only one wing, the movement of the pole shoe u8e8 has the effect that the current flows alternately into the armature core with every half revolution. By increasing the number of pole pieces or wings, one can achieve a higher number of induction atoms.
The spark is obtained in the usual way by the passing of the thumbs J on the breaker R and can easily be generated at the moment of greatest induction by regulating the breaker position. This regulation must correspond to a certain position of the armature in relation to that of the pole shoe housing at the desired moment. When the disc rotates with the pole pieces and the interrupter is firmly connected to the armature, it follows that the ignition timing can be changed by moving the armature forward or withdrawing it. The maximum strength of the spark is always obtained and as a result, the ignition can be advanced or delayed under the best conditions.
A further advantage of this type of ignition is that the arrangement of the breaker causes very sudden interruptions to the large diameter that can be given to the disk I.
It should be noted that the wings or pole pieces are not wound and are formed by perfectly balanced pieces of little inertia so that they can be made to run very quickly.
According to the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the drive element L of the machine drives the pole shoe housing at high speed, e.g. B. with the help of a gear transmission l1 and N, on. In order to avoid the generation of unnecessary sparks at the moment of exhaust, the thumb J is placed on the ring gear L which rotates at the speed of the engine.

to achieve, you can let the former rotate in the opposite direction, the main anchor.
Another constructional deviation of the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 consists in the design of the pole pieces B and C, which according to this embodiment are provided with parts BI and ('1 which are at right angles to the magnetic poles. Between these, the Discs E and F of the pole shoe housing This arrangement allows the axis of rotation of the joint to coincide with an axis of the magnets

Obviously, however, the mounting of the pole pieces and the armature shown in FIG. 4 can also be used in the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 3
The design of the movable shoe housing can be made so that out

fugalkraft can easily move outwards. Their oscillation is dampened by appropriately arranged counter springs. As soon as the angular velocity increases. these moving parts are pressed outwards and thereby create a larger air gap between the pole shoe housing and the armature and thereby reduce the strength of the current flowing through the armature.
